Jam and Brie with Phyllo Dough Hor d’oeuvres
Ingredients:
- 1 Pkg of Phyllo Dough (2 rolls with parchment paper)
- 2 Cookie sheets
- Brie Round - 8 oz
- Jar of Laurel Hill Jam (fruit or Zetz Red Pepper Jam)
Directions:
- Set Oven at 425 Degrees F
- Place Parchment paper on cookie sheets
- Place phyllo dough onto parchment paper
- Divide brie round into half, slice 2" inch think pieces
- Place brie pieces in a straight line on top of dough
- Add layer of jam on top
- Fold dough over (pinch together) brie and jam
- Transfer onto one cookie sheet
- Paint tops with egg wash---(one egg slightly beaten plus one TB water)
- Place in oven/cook for 14 minutes... more or less.
- Let set for 2 minutes before slicing into bite-sized pieces..brie should be gooey and melted
