Brie Cheese Hors d'Oeuvre with Laurel Hill Merlot Wine Jelly

1 Brie Cheese Round
1 Pillsbury Recipe Creations Roll (basically the crescent rolls w/out the perforations)
1 4 oz Jar Laurel Hill Merlot Wine Jelly (or Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon, Port or a jam may be used)
1/4c Slivered almonds (optional)
1 Whisked egg

1. Preheat oven 375 degrees
2. Unroll pastry on greased cookie sheet
3. Sprinkle slivered almonds on top
4. Cover brie wheel with wine jelly--top and bottom
5. Place brie in middle of pastry on top of nuts
6. Fold edges over brie (cut off excess if you desire)
7. Place brie sealed side down on cookie sheet
8. Give the whole thing an egg wash--you don't need to use the whole egg)
9. Bake 14-17 minutes or until golden brown

Let cool for a few minutes, then cut into wedges and serve.
